Packing Up
Well, friends, it’s about that time. I’ve experimented with Medium for a few years now. It’s had ups and downs. I’ll admit, I got caught up in the prospect of making a little extra money for writing, especially since I wanted to get into a habit of writing anyway. For that reason, I became a member, I joined the Partner Program, and I made a few extra bucks. Don’t be jealous, or anything, but I think I’ve manage to make around $17 this year alone.
I’ve never been consistent enough (until I finally got in a good routine this year) or self-promoting enough to make any real money on this platform, but that wasn’t the purpose in the first place. I just wanted a place to write regularly, and I do appreciate the word processing functionality of Medium (for the most part).
But, it’s time for me to pack it in. I’m moving back to my old blogging platform. If I did it right, you can find more of my writing at PastorSwish.com. (If I didn’t, then you’ll find me at pastorswish.wordpress.com). Either way, I’m still working my self-imposed system to attempt to post Monday through Friday with some quotes from the books I’ve been reading lately.
